1st Quarter Mini-Reflection Paper
TASK
Based on our lesson on the World of Jesus, particularly the prevailing socio-political situation of his time, reflect and answer the following questions:
- Briefly describe the “State of the Nation” (of our country) based on what you read or hear on the news, what you observe in your surroundings, etc.
- Based on this socio-political situation, what kind of “Messiah” are you expecting? What important qualities or characteristics does this “Messiah” have? What issues do you expect him to resolve?
- Place yourself in the shoes of your expected “Messiah.” How would you feel in taking such a responsibility? What three specific things would you do to address the present situation? Be SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, time-bound) with your plan of action.
